Topic: Our focus was on collecting clothes and blankets for the Salvation Army. We (Emmanuel, Shakira, Lina and Alofa) named ourselves ‘The Seekers’. We asked staff and students to donate goods and by Tuesday 28th November we had enough to give to the Salvation Army in Wycola Ave, Hei Hei.
Action Plan:
What enabled us to do this were the Salvation Army for letting us deliver the clothing/blankets to their store and also the staff and students for donating their goods. There were no disablers that we came across.

Our impact in our community:
As I have said before our group has made a " small but massive impact " in our community. By donating clothes to the Salvation Army, they are able to allocate clothing/blankets to people especially the homeless that need them the most.
Reflection:
At the very start of PBL I really enjoyed picking out what topic our group was going to focus on and then planning/writing out our action plans. Half way through the past couple of weeks I started to dislike filling out all the check points and blogging but apart from that I have enjoyed PBL.
Learning about homelessnes in PBL has made me realise that most homeless people don't just end up sleeping on the streets or in parks just because of low income but also because of things like war, poverty, mental health problems, drug issues, health issues and domestic violence.
